- Consider taking a commitment, such as offering to drive another person to a meeting, share your experience, strength, and hope at a 12-Step meeting, your old treatment center, or hospital, and commit to leading a recovery group for 3-, 6-, 9-months or a year! Contact I AM to learn more.
- Volunteer for a service position at a 12-Step meeting or an I AM meeting, such as Facilitator, Secretary, Treasurer or Literature Person.
- Show up to a support group early and help set up chairs, or stay after wards, and reach out to someone who is struggling.
- Volunteer to keep track of the phone list at your home group meeting.
- Decide to be a host family for someone who is just getting out of treatment and needs a place to stay. If you are in recovery offer to rent out your room to someone just getting out of treatment who needs structure.
